Is Pawfile really free?
Yes. The Free plan covers up to 2 pets with vaccines, meds, feeding, weight, vet visits, the Today checklist, the sitter card and printing — no card needed. Plus and Family add unlimited pets, the daily email digest, more storage and co-carers.
Which animals does it support?
Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters and other rodents, reptiles, fish, horses — and an “other” option for everyone else. Vaccine suggestions are tailored for common species.
Does my pet-sitter need an account?
No. The sitter card is a private, read-only link that opens in any browser. You can switch it off at any time and it stops working immediately.
Can I share with my partner or family?
On the Family plan you can invite up to 5 co-carers per pet. Everyone sees the same checklist and who gave each dose.
What kind of documents can I upload?
PDFs, photos (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC) and text files up to 15 MB each — lab results, x-rays, invoices, vaccine certificates, insurance papers.
Is this medical advice?
No. Pawfile is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It doesn't diagnose or recommend treatment — always follow your vet's guidance.
Can I get my data out?
Anytime. Export everything as JSON from settings, or print a clean health record for your vet.
