01Why this exists
Pawfile holds health records, documents and contact details that people trust us with. This policy sets out what isn’t allowed, so the service stays safe for everyone, including the animals. It is part of our Terms of Service.
02Content
Don’t use Pawfile to store, upload or share:
- anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights (such as copyright or privacy);
- other people’s personal data without a valid reason, for example uploading someone else’s identity documents or records that have nothing to do with your pet’s care;
- malware, viruses or any file designed to harm devices or systems.
Uploads are for pet records
Certificates, lab results, invoices, insurance letters and photos are perfect. Executables, archives of unrelated files and anything malicious are not.
04Our systems
- No scraping, crawling or automated bulk access to Pawfile.
- No load-testing, stress-testing or denial-of-service attempts.
- No attempts to bypass rate limits, plan limits, access controls or authentication.
- No probing or scanning for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
05Animal welfare
Zero tolerance
Don’t use Pawfile in connection with animal cruelty, animal fighting, or the illegal trade in animals (including protected species and unlicensed breeding or sales). We will close accounts involved and may report them to the relevant authorities.
06Reporting abuse
If you see something that breaks this policy, use our report form or email [email protected]. Include the link involved and what you saw. We review every report.
If an animal is in immediate danger, contact your local animal welfare organisation or the police first.
07What we do about it
Depending on how serious it is, we may:
- disable a sitter card link or invite;
- remove content;
- suspend or close the account;
- report illegal activity to the authorities.
Where reasonable, we’ll tell you what happened and why. If you think we got it wrong, email [email protected].
